As a first-time homebuyer, you may qualify for down payment assistance from the Home Purchase Assistance Program (HPAP) of the Oregon Bankers Association. The $1,500 assistance is provided in the form of a 0% interest second mortgage that is repaid only at the time you sell, transfer or refinance your home.
