Membership in CCLT

CCLT is a member-based organization made up of people who want to make homeownership a reality for more of their neighbors in Clackamas County. Our members are the foundation of our organization, and through the democratic process help determine our focus.

By becoming a member, you help support CCLT's mission to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for low and moderate income people in Clackamas County now and for generations to come. The land trust ensures that homes remain affordable by retaining ownership of the land, and leasing it to the homeowner.

Financial support from members enables us to reach more people who may qualify for our homes. Your dollars help us advocate for affordable housing in Clackamas County, so that homeownership remains an option for people of low and moderate income. Member support helps fund our outreach, information sessions and coordination of the homeowner education workshops. It also helps cover operating costs and staff salaries. In addition, CCLT pursues grants and other sources of funding.

CCLT members also give of their time and resources through in-kind donations such as supplies for a tree planting or help with newsletter mailings. Each member contribution, whether financial or in-kind, helps establish CCLT's presence - and mission - in the community.

Member Incentive Program Offers Prizes for Referrals
A new incentive program has been implemented by CCLT for members only. Here’s how it works: Members who refer potential homeowners to an information session will be rewarded with such goodies as free tickets to the Japanese Garden, Pittock Mansion, Bullwinkle’s Family Fun Center, and the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center.

In order to claim your prize, the person or persons you refer must attend one of CCLT’s free information sessions and let us know you referred them.

Please have the person you are referring call Loretta Walker Kelly, Homeowner Coordinator, to express their interest in attending a session (503-659-1618). Loretta will provide them with the date, time and location of upcoming sessions. Attending an information session is the first step to becoming a homeowner through CCLT.

Join us today and help create new homeowners in Clackamas County!
